If we look closely at our lives we can see that the most important moments happened within seconds or minutes. Time is an illusion, stop racing a game that can never be won. When we learn to embrace the now we accomplish much more than the mind can conceive or achieve.

I am fortunate to have a handful of very close friends who seem to be experiencing life in parallel to mine. We all seem to be learning similar things. We have similar believe systems. Our paths run close together and periodically crisscross in interesting ways.

When we are together we have experiences that the only word I can use to adequately describe them is magical. Some of my experiences with this group of people have been beyond extraordinary. These are transcendent experiences that have propelled me forward in my own growth and understanding of the universe we live in.

The trust level is extremely high. We would do anything for each other at any time. The love is very deep. The word “friends” has not been good enough to describe these special people in my life. They are like family, but aren’t. So, I use the term spiritual family. It seems to fit quite well.

My life would not be as rich without them. I don’t think I would have grown as much without their help and compassion. We share a bond that runs deep and feels like it has existed for lifetimes. Maybe it has. I simply don’t know.

Today, I acknowledge the special gifts these friends are and how fortunate I am to have them in my life. I look forward to many more. J

There is no set path. Just follow your heart. – Unknown

I’m still working on making this a daily practice in my own life. The rewards are tremendous, but for me and I suspect for many others, this is a difficult thing to do. We tend to listen to everyone else about what we “should” and “shouldn’t do”; which way is the best way to go; what direction society is forcing into compliance.

Bottom line, it’s really only about us. Our path must be where we are drawn to go, what we are compelled to do and what makes us passionately happy. It’s not about anyone else at all. This is not the definition of selfishness in case you were wondering. This is the definition of how to live a fulfilled and meaningful life.

When we are following our path or going where our heart wants us to go, then we become relaxed, happy, content and our cups are filled to the top. This allows us to help others in a big way. We have more to give and more to share. But the biggest thing we can give others is the example of how we are living.

Following our heart is exactly what children do. If we can show children that adults can follow their hearts, then maybe, just maybe, that won’t have to relearn that when they get older.

Have a great day!

Gratitude Counts, And It Feels Really Good Too! Slow down and find those little moments in your day too appreciate life!! In our society we spend most of our time rushing from one thing to the next. Trying to get it all done, get through something, or believing when we have…. then we can relax or enjoy whatever we think it is we want or need. Don’t believe your busy minds illusion! Think how many times you believed it and yet “It” hasn’t arrived. Doesn’t it seem like you have done that for a life time already? Has anything changed? Your age maybe!! Then you feel stresses about more time and wasted time and more not enough time. Sounds a lot like a crazy hamster wheel going round and round. Need some meds now to combat that anxiety?

Wake up!! The “Time” is now! The place is right here! It starts with the simple gratefulness of breath, of nature, of loved ones. Remember when people would say a pray of gratitude before a meal? There is much power in that 1 minute task. It creates more abundance and love, which radiates into your life. The more love and gratitude you bring will only grow and increase more of the same in your life and those around you.

Pick one small thing in your life, a person, a job, money etc and everyday stop for one minute when it comes to your sight or mind and cultivate a feeling of love and gratitude. Do this for one month or even two weeks and watch the amazing happenings that will arise around and within you. NOW IS THE TIME

Our planet is a living being just as we are. It changes, grows, evolves, and responds to how it is treated. Just as we are all one created from the same source so is Planet Earth!! Remember to be Grateful for your playground. Treat it with respect and be conscious of your choices.

Use products that are environmentally sound. Allow your choices to come from love and not from a place of fighting what you think has been done wrong to the planet. Let’s let our outside world be a cultivation of our inner spiritual growth. Care for your environment as you would a precious child. You wouldn’t give your child a toxic toy, would you?

When you do, and give, and live with love and respect for your environment it spreads more than your mind can conceive. You will feel it on a personal level and it will spread on a global plane.
