Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant. – Robert Louis Stevenson
As we go through our day, we are constantly planting seeds by our thoughts and ultimately our actions. If we took a little bit more conscious time to think about what we are planting, the long term effects would be dramatic.
Negativity begets negativity. Positivity begets positivity. Laughter breeds more laughter. Grumpiness finds more grumpiness. Passion creates more passion. Repressed feelings birth anger. Compassion directs compassion towards you.
Just like a small seed can bring a huge harvest, each thought we think is the beginning of something much bigger. Those small thoughts lumped together form beliefs. Our beliefs determine our actions and how we perceive the world around us. Our actions and perceptions determine the quality of our lives.
So, if we start working on the small thoughts, we can change everything in the long run.
Have a great day!
